The Barristers Club
Our History
The building that houses the Club was originally built in 1928 by The Women’s Club of Allentown. It was later purchased by The Bar Association of Lehigh County in 1991, where it underwent extensive renovations to restore it to its original grandeur. In 2008 the building underwent a $250,000 renovation to once again update the facility with new carpet, hardwood floors, audio/visual, upgraded kitchen appliances, fresh paint, a new bar, resurfaced parking lot and the creation of an intimate garden in the rear of the building for outdoor intimate affairs.
Today, the building currently houses the offices for The Bar Association of Lehigh County and is available to the general public to be rented for special events.

The facility’s striking interior design, brilliant hardwood floors and rustic brick walls set it apart from all other event locations in town.
Over the years, The Barristers Club has earned the highest distinction and reputation hosting weddings, rehearsal dinners, romantic engagement dinners and many special events. The Club offers a unique venue paired with personalized attention from an on-site Event Coordinator, who will assist with all of your planning needs.

The Grand Ballroom
A Room for Every Occasion
The Grand Ballroom is the prime location for stunning wedding ceremonies, receptions, birthday parties and all social events. Room capacity is dependent upon seating and set-up of your event (Example: dance floor/no dance floor, balcony seating/no balcony seating). The Ballroom consists of a 20 foot ceiling, full service bar, removable dance floor, stage, balcony, Steinway Grand piano and projection screen. Barristers Club Community Room
Privacy Is Everything
Are you looking for a place to host a Baby or Bridal shower, Birthday Brunch or any other smaller special celebration? How about an intimate dining affair, rehearsal dinner or corporate event? The Community Room is the perfect location for showers and smaller gatherings for up to 32 guests.
Additional conference rooms are also available for any of your meeting or seminar needs. Be sure to inquire about the availability of audio/visual equipment.

Food & Beverage
The Barristers Club is equipped with a “caterer’s dream kitchen”, a full-service commercial kitchen, where all of your dining wishes are possible. The facility is available for use by a caterer of your choice, which allows you to select your menu based on your budget. Schedule a meeting with our event coordinator today and we can assist in designing the perfect catering package for you.
As a Pennsylvania licensed facility, The Barristers Club provides all alcoholic beverage services for events.
Outdoor Garden
The Outdoor Garden is perfect for smaller, more intimate events. Imagine exchanging vows or hosting a cocktail party in a private and beautifully fresh, outdoor garden. Fully customizable, guests have used the outdoor venue for a variety of different events.
Parking
Parking is available on site, adjacent to and immediately to the rear of the building. A caterer’s entry provides parking and access directly to the kitchen entry. There are 100+ parking spaces, in addition to plenty of off-street parking. All parking lots are well lighted.
